rest days let your muscles grow bigger and faster. you should start with 2-3 rest days until you get a consistent routine. then gradually works doing legs every other day!! my biggest growth happened during rest days

If you don’t know what to eat then you could do a video where you workout and eat like a celeb like Kim k or so and when you do booty workouts you need to feed your butt so don’t be afraid to eat. You don’t need to be calorie deficit as much when you’re right lift because you have to feed the muscles.

You can look up some recipes but you need a balance of protein fat and carb in each meal. So a meal of rice, veggies, and a chicken breast is a balanced meal

you should measure your mid thigh as well, you will probably lose fat around your thighs as well as gain muscle in your quads and hamstrings as squats and deadlifts also target your quads and hamstrings. Also, your body changes significantly in the first few months of training, but after that it takes a lot more training and diet considerations to grow muscle. Another thing, if you want to train for hypertrophy (muscle growth) try to stay within the 6-10 rep range for 3-5 sets which is proven to work best for those results. anything more than that is more advantageous to developing muscular endurance. (I'm an exercise physiologist)

I'm not sure, but i've heard that if your butt 'grew' a lot when you just started it's because it's swelling as you just started using your muscles down there. But maybe it appears bigger as the shape changed
